smoked salmon cheese spread

Total Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients

Yield: 2 1/2 Cups

    • 2 pkg (8oz each) cream cheese, softened
    • 1 pkg (4oz) smoked salmon or lox
    • 3 Tbsp horseradish sauce
    • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
    • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/4 tsp Creole seasoning
    • 1/4 tsp coarsely ground pepper
    • Chopped walnuts and snipped fresh dill

Directions:

    1. Place the first seven ingredients in a food processor; process until blended. Transfer to a serving dish; sprinkle with walnuts and dill.
    2. Refrigerate, covered, until serving.

NOTE: The following spices may be substituted for 1 tsp Creole seasoning: 1/4 tsp each salt, garlic powder, and paprika; and a pinch each of dried thyme, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper.
